Questions

How is file size calculated?

Size = (video bitrate + audio bitrate) × length ÷ 8. A 10-minute video at 8 Mbps is about 600 MB.

What bitrate does YouTube recommend?

About 8 Mbps for 1080p at 30 fps and 12 Mbps at 60 fps, 35–45 Mbps for 4K.

My file is too big. What now?

Lower the bitrate or the resolution, or run it through the free video compressor.
